Chocolate City Group has announced the appointment of Ifeyinwa Anyadiegwu as its new Vice President and Head of Businesses and Legal Affairs, with immediate effect.
An accomplished music executive with over eight years of experience in Nigeria’s music industry, Ifeyinwa has been a key architect behind the label’s legal and business strategies. In her previous role as Head of Business and Legal Affairs, she played a vital part in artist development, strategic acquisitions, and signing major Nigerian talents such as Tar1q, Young Jonn, and Blaqbonez.
A passionate advocate for intellectual property rights, Ifeyinwa has significantly influenced policy development within Nigeria’s music sector, including her contributions to the Nigerian Copyright Act of 2022. She has also represented the label in high-profile copyright infringement cases and critical commercial negotiations.
She holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from the University of Manchester and continues to set high standards for legal and business excellence in the music industry.
Her promotion underscores her strategic vision, leadership capabilities, and dedication to elevating African music on the global stage.
