This year’s edition promises a dynamic lineup of industry thought leaders from Nigeria, Africa, and across the globe, engaging in insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of creativity, technology, storytelling, and brand strategy. The conference aims to foster conversations on shaping the future of African creativity and its increasing influence on the global stage.

Attendees can look forward to keynote speeches from visionary industry figures, panel sessions exploring the future of creative strategy, and tech-driven discussions on AI, digital transformation, and emerging creative tools. Topics will also include the intersection of advertising with entertainment, film, and cultural storytelling.

Key themes for 2025 include:

– Authenticity and cultural storytelling
– Creativity at the crossroads of advertising and film
– The influence of AI and technology on creative processes
– Understanding the new African consumer
– Unlocking global opportunities for African brands

The two-day festival will culminate in the prestigious LAIF Awards Ceremony on Sunday, November 30, recognizing excellence across Nigeria’s advertising and marketing communications industry. Celebrating two decades of creative achievement, the awards remain Nigeria’s most esteemed benchmark for innovative work, honoring agencies, directors, writers, designers, strategists, and brand teams pushing industry boundaries.

In addition, the festival will feature the LAIF Icon Award, honoring an industry pioneer whose contributions have significantly shaped Nigerian advertising’s growth and evolution.

Mr. Jay Chukwuemeka, Chairman of the LAIF Management Board, emphasized the significance of this milestone:
“LAIF has grown into one of West Africa’s most influential creative festivals. Celebrating 20 years, we honor our past while looking ahead to a future driven by innovation, collaboration, and global relevance.”
