Tayo Aina, Tomike Adeoye And Dammy Twitch To Lead ECHO Creator Accelerator As Free Registration Nears Deadline

Woof Studios Africa has announced the lead faculty for ECHO, a new creator-focused accelerator programme positioned to equip African digital talents with the tools needed to build sustainable, globally competitive media businesses.

The accelerator, scheduled to begin in early April 2026 with in-person sessions in Lagos, will be led by prominent creators and industry leaders including Tayo Aina, Tomike Adeoye and Dammy Twitch. Other confirmed faculty members include award-winning actress and producer Ruth Kadiri, actor and creator Elozonam Ogbolu, communications strategist Adebola Williams and digital health advocate Chinonso Egemba.

ECHO has been designed as a high-impact, invite-only accelerator aimed at closing the gap between online visibility and long-term business sustainability within Africa’s rapidly expanding creator economy. The programme is already being described within creative circles as a premium learning hub for serious digital entrepreneurs.

According to the organisers, ECHO will focus on transitioning creators from content production to enterprise building, with a curriculum structured around monetisation strategy, business formalisation and global positioning. Participants will be guided on how to diversify income beyond brand deals, build professional operational systems and scale African stories for international markets.

Founder and Creative Director of Woof Studios Africa, Adetutu Laditan, said the accelerator is designed to help creators move beyond short-term digital fame into long-term industry relevance. She noted that ECHO is focused on ensuring African creators retain ownership of the value they generate while building enterprises that can withstand shifts in algorithms and platform policies.

Only 15 creators will be selected for the inaugural cohort to ensure intensive mentorship and hands-on guidance. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 1,000 subscribers on YouTube or at least 10,000 followers on Instagram or TikTok. Registration is free and open to eligible creators across Africa.

Applications for the ECHO Creator Accelerator close at 11:59 pm WAT on March 22, 2026, with successful candidates expected to be announced shortly after. Organisers say the initiative reflects a growing push to professionalise Africa’s creator ecosystem and position its talent for long-term participation in the global digital economy.
