Alert Group is set to hold free eye care outreaches in Ibadan and Abuja as part of its community development initiative, “See Better Life with Alert.”
The outreach is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Ibadan and on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Abuja, and will offer free eye check-ups, consultations, and prescription glasses.
With the success of previous editions in Yaba and Mushin, Lagos, where over 300 residents benefited from free eye care services, the new editions aim to reach even more people across the country.
Kazeem Olanrewaju, President of Alert Group, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to improving lives through accessible healthcare.
Olanrewaju stated, “Eyes speak a universal language. This time, we are doubling our impact with increased funding and plan to serve more than 500 beneficiaries per location.”
Yele Osunsanya, the Chief Executive Officer of Bucksfield Asset Management, a subsidiary of the Alert Group, said the initiative aligns with the company’s goal of expanding its social impact footprint nationwide.
Osunsanya noted, “Abuja, being the nation’s capital, represents a key area for our impact drive. Following our sponsorship of the 29th Annual Conference of Stockbrokers in Abuja, we are strengthening our presence there through various subsidiaries.”
He added that the free eye care exercise would be held in local markets to ensure easy access for children, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.
The Alert Group said the outreach is part of its broader community support agenda, which also includes customer appreciation and engagement programmes such as the recent Customer Service Week celebration.
