Bolt, Nigeria’s leading ride-hailing platform, has honoured its longest-serving drivers with cash rewards and branded gifts during its recently held Bolt Family Fest in Lagos.
The event was organized to celebrate loyalty, reward top-performing drivers, and reinforce the brand’s commitment to building a strong driver community. In a statement on Wednesday, Bolt said the Family Fest recognised drivers who have remained on the platform for 7 to 8 years, dating back to when the company operated as Taxify.
The General Manager for Bolt Nigeria, Osi Oguah, said the event was designed to celebrate the contributions of drivers to the company’s growth.
“Our drivers are the heart of everything we do at Bolt. This event is our way of saying thank you for their dedication and professionalism. We’re not just building a platform; we’re building a family,” Oguah said.
“The Bolt Family Fest is about creating moments of connection and showing our drivers they are seen, appreciated, and celebrated,” he added.
The Bolt Family Fest also featured on-site vehicle branding, raffle draws, and merchandise giveaways. Two drivers won brand-new smart TVs in a lucky dip, one being a newly branded driver and the other, a long-time partner.
Beyond celebration, the event marked an expansion of Bolt’s vehicle branding initiative in Lagos increasing street-level visibility and deepening community ties across its driver network.
With this initiative, Bolt continues to strengthen its brand presence while recognizing the essential role drivers play in shaping the everyday urban mobility experience.
