Daystar Power, a provider of hybrid solar power solutions for commercial and industrial customers in West Africa, has announced the appointment of Yischai Beinisch as its Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025.
Yischai Beinisch joins Daystar Power from power business in Shell and is taking on his new role in addition to his current position as General Manager, Emerging Markets Power in Shell.
Daystar Power expressed gratitude to Jasper Graf von Hardenberg, its outgoing Group CEO, and Christian Wessels, outgoing President, who founded the firm in 2017, for their contribution in building the business and steering it through a sustainable path of growth.
Incoming CEO, Beinisch, said, “Daystar Power has built a strong foundation as a reliable solar power provider in Africa, and I am excited to work alongside this talented team to deliver on our ambitions.
