Entertainment Week Africa (EWA), a Pan-African gathering designed to convene leaders, innovators, and investors across the continent’s creative economy set to host its inaugural edition in Lagos this November.
Taking place from 18 to 23 November 2025, EWA represents the evolution of Entertainment Week Lagos into a continental hub for music, film, fashion, sports, and creative business.
Entertainment Week Africa, convened by Livespot360, is one of Africa’s leading creative solutions companies. First launched in 2022 as Entertainment Week Lagos, the platform placed Lagos firmly on the global creative calendar, drawing thousands of participants from across the world and catalyzing industry collaborations. Its expansion into Entertainment Week Africa in 2025 reflects both the scale of its ambition and the scale of Africa’s opportunity.
Over three editions, Entertainment Week Lagos established itself as one of Nigeria’s most influential cultural convenings, generating significant media value, stimulating local economic activity, and attracting global attention to West Africa’s creative industries. That track record provides the foundation for Entertainment Week Africa, a larger, more ambitious stage positioned to serve the continent.
EWA is built on three pillars: industry development, investment, and global visibility. The six-day program will include executive forums, masterclasses, showcases, policy roundtables, networking platforms, and deal rooms where creators, entrepreneurs, and investors can form cross-border partnerships. The goal is to accelerate sector growth, attract investment capital, and integrate African creative industries into the global economy.
The expansion comes at a pivotal moment. Africa’s creative economy is one of the fastest-growing in the world, with streaming reshaping film and music distribution, digital platforms enabling fashion to scale across borders, and governments beginning to prioritize the sector as a contributor to GDP diversification. By bringing together stakeholders across public, private, and creative sectors, Entertainment Week Africa positions itself as the continent’s leading marketplace for ideas, talent, and capital in the creative industries.
Stakeholders expected at the inaugural edition include creators, investors, multinationals, policy leaders, distributors, media houses, and ecosystem enablers from across Africa and the diaspora.
Registration for the inaugural edition is now open at www.ewafrica.com.
