Indomie Instant Noodles, a popular noodle brand in Nigeria, brought fun and excitement to various parts of the country from October 4 to 6 as it celebrated World Indomie Day 2025.
According to a statement by the company, the three-day nationwide event united fans, families, and communities in a grand tribute to the brand that has become a household name across generations.
The main celebration hub was the Ikeja City Mall in Lagos, which was transformed into a vibrant carnival ground filled with music, dance, games, and endless servings of Indomie.
Tope Sule, Brand Manager of Indomie Nigeria, speaking at the event, expressed heartfelt appreciation to consumers for their loyalty over the years. He said, “World Indomie Day is more than a celebration of a brand; it’s a celebration of the people who have made Indomie a part of their everyday lives. It represents family, friendship, and shared moments around a meal that bring comfort and joy to millions.”
Rahmotallahi Adeniyi, Regional Brand Manager, South-East, Indomie Nigeria, said the event was designed to celebrate the brand’s community rather than just its product.
Adeniyi said, “We wanted to create an atmosphere where our consumers could feel the true spirit of Indomie. World Indomie Day is our way of moving from a day about noodles to a day about people — our community, our family.”
One of the highlights of the celebration was the Upside-Down Indomie House — a specially designed photo zone that turned the ordinary into the extraordinary. Inside the installation, furniture and plates appeared suspended from the ceiling, creating a playful illusion that fascinated visitors. Hundreds of guests flocked to the attraction to take creative photos and share their “Indomie moments” across social media, making it one of the event’s biggest draws.
The statement added that the celebration was further enlivened by the presence of media personality Tomike Adeoye, who delighted fans with her cheerful energy — dancing with children and sharing heartfelt moments that underscored Indomie’s deep connection with Nigerian families. Her lively presence added warmth and glamour to the event, reinforcing the brand’s message of unity and joy.
Beyond the mall festivities, Indomie extended the celebration to the streets of Lagos through a community outreach programme led by popular content creator Asherkine. Together with his team, he visited neighbourhoods and local markets, engaging directly with everyday Nigerians.
They cooked, served, and distributed cartons of Indomie, spreading happiness and appreciation among fans across communities. Similar activities were held simultaneously across Nigeria — in markets, schools, and public spaces — ensuring that every Indomie lover had a reason to celebrate.
Across all participating cities, the World Indomie Day celebration reminded Nigerians that Indomie’s legacy extends far beyond taste and convenience. It embodies love, creativity, and community spirit — values that have helped it remain the nation’s most beloved noodle brand for decades.
