Kerojet Services Launches ICT Center to Empower Communities in Nigeria

In a significant move towards national development and youth empowerment, Kerojet Services Limited, Nigeria’s leading indigenous supplier of Jet A1 aviation fuel, has inaugurated the NASFAT Youth Information Tech Center (NASYITEC) in the Ipaja community. This state-of-the-art ICT facility, established through the company’s philanthropic arm, The Pillar’s Dream Living Foundation, aims to bridge the digital divide and foster Nigeria’s knowledge economy.

Founded in 2016, Kerojet has rapidly expanded its operations across Nigeria, with fueling stations in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Jos, Port Harcourt, Kebbi, Kaduna, Yola, Sokoto, and Maiduguri. Beyond Nigeria, the company supports international airlines, strengthening Nigeria’s position in the global aviation industry.

Mr. Femi Balogun, Managing Director of Kerojet Services Limited, expressed the company’s commitment: “Progress isn’t just about business growth; it’s about making a real impact on people’s lives. This ICT Center is about unlocking opportunities for Ipaja’s youth—giving them skills, access, and the chance to dream bigger. Our growth across Nigeria and into international aviation provides a platform to empower communities wherever we operate.”

He added, “At Kerojet, we believe in innovation and integrity. Our stations are more than assets—they’re catalysts for creating jobs, fostering technical skills, and setting industry standards for safety and efficiency. Investments like this ICT Center are about fueling progress at every level—from tarmacs to classrooms.”

Lagos State’s Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, Hon. Olaniyan Michael, praised the initiative: “This is a prime example of Lagos State’s public-private partnership. By investing in technology and skills, Kerojet is investing in our youth and economy. Such efforts will drive Nigeria’s advancement, unlock opportunities, and establish Nigeria as a hub for innovation.”

Alhaji Abdulwaheed Ayodeji, President of NASFAT Ipaja Branch, also expressed gratitude: “Today’s gift is more than technology—it’s hope and a future for our youth. This ICT Center will be a beacon of knowledge and opportunity, opening new doors for our community. We thank Kerojet and Mr. Balogun for this life-changing gesture.”

Kerojet’s dedication extends beyond philanthropy; its core business is built on safety, precision, and trust, earning international acclaim. Its ongoing investments reflect a vision of business success that uplifts communities and nurtures Nigeria’s future leaders.

As the ICT Center begins operations, Kerojet Services Limited reaffirms its mission: fueling planes, powering communities, and inspiring Nigeria’s next generation of innovators.
