MTN has partnered with Tech Revolution Africa as the Headline Sponsor for the second edition of the continent’s leading innovation gathering, Tech Revolution Africa 2.0, the organiser said.
The Big Bold Step is scheduled to take place on January 30 to 31, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The renewed partnership underscores MTN’s continued commitment to driving innovation, empowering young talent, and shaping the digital future of Africa.
MTN also headlined the inaugural edition of Tech Revolution Africa in 2024, where its support helped deliver a high-impact platform that sparked critical discussions, inspired collaboration, and created valuable connections across Africa’s technology ecosystem.
Shoyinka Shodunke, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Information Officer, speaking on the sponsorship, said the initiative reflects Africa’s growing confidence and leadership in the global technology space.

The event is expected to host over 5,000 participants, feature more than 80 speakers, 38 exhibitors, and 15 product showcases, positioning Tech Revolution Africa 2.0 as a key platform for collaboration and deal-making in Africa’s tech ecosystem.
