Opay Digital Services, a fintech firm, has rewarded four winners who participated at the ongoing weekly 7-security vote challenge with a million each, summing a total of N4m.
The winners; Udeng Etudo, Akindele Boluwatife, Wedopetwinz and Temitope Akinotan were announced after being adjudged with the most viral contents during the first Grand Prize Giveaway held at the headquarters in Lagos.
Oluwaseun Imade, Enterprise Marketing Manager of Opay, expressed the firm’s commitment to combat fraudulent activities, saying the vote challenge was designed to raise awareness of the seven in-app security features.
According to her, the seven in-app security features includes; Scam Alert, Night Guard, Large Transaction Shield, Online Subscription Control, USSD Lock, Large Transaction Double Check, and Emergency Lock.
Imade said, “OPay mission has always been to make financial services more inclusive through technology and key in our values has always been to put users first. It is why the 7 security features were built and also why we decided to bring it full circle by asking users to vote for which feature is their favourite and win cool prizes along the way. We are not just rewarding participation, we are also shaping a safer digital environment for millions of Nigerians.”
