Polaris Bank Empowers Youth at Maracana Fest

Polaris Bank empowered youths from the Ajegunle community in Lagos during the 2025 Maracana Children’s Fest.

According to a statement from Polaris bank on Monday, the event brought together over 3,000 primary pupils and secondary school students, their families, and community leaders.

The 2025 Maracana Children’s Fest is a grassroots event promoted by the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation and was held at the Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle, Lagos. Polaris Bank support of the event highlights its commitment to youth development and social inclusion.

Kayode Lawal, Managing Director of Polaris Bank, represented by Rasheed Bolarinwa, Head of Brand Management & Corporate Communication, said, “We are proud to support the Maracana Children’s Fest and contribute to such a meaningful community initiative. This event allowed us to connect with the next generation and their families, promoting both youth development and financial inclusion. Our support for this event is a reflection of Polaris Bank’s commitment to supporting communities and empowering young people through initiatives that align with our values.”

The festival highlighted youth empowerment through sports, creativity, and community involvement. Polaris Bank played a key role in supporting the event by contributing meals, palliative food packages, and a variety of useful souvenirs distributed to participants and their families. Present at the event were dignitaries, including former Super Eagles players.
