Three Crowns Milk has unveiled a nationwide Ramadan campaign aimed at encouraging healthy nourishment, heart care, and stronger family connections as Muslim faithful prepare for the holy month.
The initiative, introduced by the FrieslandCampina brand ahead of Ramadan, focuses on supporting households during the fasting period while reinforcing values such as kindness, shared meals and togetherness. The company said the campaign is structured around community engagement, education and acts of giving designed to resonate with families across Nigeria.
That the campaign officially kicked off with pre-Ramadan lectures held in Lagos, Kano, and Ibadan. The sessions were organised to prepare Muslim faithful for fasting, with discussions centred on nutrition, wellness, and family care throughout Ramadan. Participants were also served healthy meals prepared with Three Crowns Milk to demonstrate balanced dietary choices during the period.
As Ramadan progresses, the milk brand plans to extend its outreach to 100 mosques nationwide, where it will host Iftar moments for worshippers. These mosque activations will feature the distribution of nutritious meals made with Three Crowns Milk, reinforcing the importance of proper nourishment after daily fasting.
In addition, the brand will carry out acts of charity by distributing specially curated Ramadan boxes and fruit hampers to Muslim faithful at selected locations across the country. The company said the gesture reflects the spirit of generosity that defines the holy month and aligns with its long-standing commitment to community support.
Speaking on the campaign, Chioma Otisi-Igwe, Marketing Manager for Three Crowns Milk, said Ramadan represents a period of reflection, family bonding and kindness. She noted that the brand recognises the role mothers play in ensuring families remain nourished during the fasting season and designed the campaign to support them with wholesome nutrition.
Beyond physical activations, Three Crowns Milk will also run a digital storytelling campaign spotlighting treasured Ramadan family traditions. The online series will feature mothers and grandmothers sharing cherished recipes passed down through generations, all prepared with Three Crowns Milk to highlight its place in family meals.
Also commenting, Lilian Elue, Brand Manager for Three Crowns Milk, said the company is positioning itself to lead conversations around Ramadan nourishment by celebrating everyday acts of kindness and the role of mothers in preserving family traditions.
The company said the campaign underscores its broader mission to nourish not just families, but entire communities, while strengthening its bond with Nigerian consumers during one of the country’s most significant religious seasons.
