HESED Learning and Development Limited has launched an innovative application designed to support students, teachers, and parents in preparing for exams. The app, known as the HESED PQ App, offers access to over 30,000 interactive past questions, aiming to enhance the educational experience for Nigerian students.
In a statement released by the company, it was revealed that the HESED PQ App is designed to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable educational resources that will support academic success. Available across multiple platforms—including smartphones, tablets, desktops, and laptops—the app allows students to access past questions anytime and from anywhere, facilitating flexible learning.
The statement explained, “The HESED PQ App allows students to prepare for exams using over 30,000 interactive past questions. This valuable resource is specifically designed to boost learning and ensure that students are thoroughly prepared for their exams, regardless of their location.”
Matthew Odu, Chief Executive Officer of HESED, emphasised the importance of accessible and affordable education for every child’s future. “Our mission is to offer comprehensive and innovative solutions tailored to the needs of schools, teachers, students, and parents,” Odu remarked, “as we are committed to bridging gaps in the education sector.”
He also highlighted that HESED Edu Suite offers two flagship products: the HESED School Management System (HESED SMS) and the HESED Past Questions (HESED PQ).
The HESED SMS is an all-encompassing school management platform that streamlines and improves school operations, ensuring engagement and support for all stakeholders. Meanwhile, the HESED PQ provides access to a wide range of past questions covering various subjects based on the Nigerian curriculum.
As an entrepreneur and Chartered Accountant, Odu elaborated that the app would offer senior secondary school students access to “comprehensive, high-quality revision and practice questions within a secure online environment.” He added, “We combine expert online tuition with proven learning techniques to deliver world-class learning materials.”
The app contains 5,000 questions for each subject, with each question accompanied by detailed answers and expert commentary. The practice and revision questions are crafted to align with both the national curriculum and international best practices.
Additionally, students will have access to past Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) questions spanning the last 30 years, as well as past UTME questions, complete with solutions and expert analysis.
Odu also mentioned that the app allows parents not only to make school payments easily but also to monitor their children’s academic progress. Parents will receive real-time updates on results and school announcements through the app.
“With the HESED SMS, our all-in-one school management platform, we optimise school operations and ensure that every stakeholder is fully supported and engaged,” Odu explained. Key features of the application include resource management, result management, staff and student management, secure online payments with immediate receipts, and teacher-parent communication for performance insights.
